TEACHING
As a teacher, Carrie has shared her knowledge and belief that people are by-nature creative and that dance is a language common to all. This belief led her to found “Exploratory Dance,” a workshop created for non- professionals' to explore their own unique movement vocabulary. The workshop encouraged exploration of intuitive, guided expression through movement resulting in the creation of an original work of dance.
She has taught dance at South Carolina Governor's School for Arts and Humanities, Princeton Day School, The Pennington Studio, Princeton Ballet, La Guardia High School of the Performing Arts in New York City, The Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, SUNY Purchase College, Talent Unlimited Performing Arts High School, and Hatha Yoga at various studios in New York and New Jersey.
Carrie also teaches various workshops and master classes throughout the United States as well as setting Martha Graham’s master works’ on various Colleges.
